Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bounce Around Tucson licensed and insured?
Yes. We have all Tucson required licenses to operate a party rental company.  Also, we are fully insured and have local city park permits.

How much room do I need?
Approximately a 15' x 15' area should be plenty of room for our
13' x 13' bounce house, a 20’ x 20’ for a combo and 15’ x 36’ for a large slide. The area should be level, free of sharp rocks, sticks, animal waste, debris, etc. Any in ground sprinkler systems should be shut off and not protruding. The unit must be within 80 feet of an outlet. We also ask that you please clean up the area in which the bounce house or slide is to be placed.
What if I want the inflatable setup where there is no electrical outlet, or at least no outlet within 80 feet?
We can setup your bouncer virtually anywhere. We will need to bring a generator in order to power the blower. Keep in mind that there is a $10 per hour charge for generator rental.
Where can the bounce house be set up?
Many home owners with small yards don’t realize that they can set up behind or in front of their garage. Most units will fit in a standard double driveway. This is assuming that there isn’t a steep incline. The units must be set up on a fairly flat surface, but a slight incline is ok. The area must be free of anything that might puncture or rip the unit such as above ground tree roots, rocks, etc.
Can a bouncer be set up indoors?
Yes, our units can be set up inside or outside. You will need to have enough ceiling height (about 20’) to accommodate the inflatable. The bouncer must not be too near hot lights, a/c vents or any fire hazard. Many commercial halls, malls, gyms, etc. will do just fine.

Do you require a deposit?
We do require a deposit which takes your bounce house out of rotation on your event date and insures no double booking. We require a 30% deposit that is refundable if you cancel more than 2 weeks from the date of your event. Should you need to cancel within 2 weeks of your event date, your entire deposit will be applied to a rental on a different date of your choice.  (We cannot insure that your bouncer of choice will be available for your new party date but we will work to accommodate you the best we can.)
When do you take payment?
You can make full payment or just the deposit by cash, check or credit card - using paypal.  Just let us know.  A $25 fee will be imposed on all returned checks.
Who sets up the bounce house?
We will deliver the bounce house and set it up securely in the location of your choice.  Please visit our delivery map for fees that may apply to certain locations.
How long does it take to set up the bounce house?
It takes about 25-45 minutes to set up the unit and review the safety guidelines with you.
What time do you deliver and pick-up the bounce house?
You decide on the specific rental time and we'll be there anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours before that for set up. You do not pay for set up time. Rentals are for jumping time only. We pick-up the unit after the party is over, but please allow up to 3 hours for pick-up. If an exact pick-up time is crucial, just let us know.   Please do not deflate the unit prior to our arrival unless an emergency occurs.  We will need to do a complete inspection prior to packing up.
Why can't I pick up the bouncer and/or slide and set it up myself to cut costs?
Safety is our number one concern. Some companies may allow the renter to pick up the inflatable units and set them up themselves but we do not feel that it is a good idea. Our set-up personnel will evaluate the area, use the correct size & type of power cords and make the all-important connections between the blower & inflatable. We also use proper straps and spikes/anchors to secure the inflatable to the ground and clean the inflatable prior to you using it (if needed). Also, each unit weighs approximately 200 to 400 pounds, so injury to you is also our concern.

Are your inflatables clean?
Yes!   Cleanliness is a HUGE part of safety. We clean our inflatables and all of our equipment (tables, chairs, etc) before every single rental.  We vacuum, spray and wipe/scrub using a high quality cleaner/disinfectant.

Are inflatables safe?
Our inflatables are constructed with children's safety in mind. They are covered for protection from the weather. They are made of extra strong materials with netting on the sides for safety, as well as extra ventilation. We also have an inflatable safety step, so that children are able to climb into the bounce house by themselves. No lifting of the little ones required. A responsible ADULT must supervise play at all times.   It's imparative to read and adhere to our safety instructions at all time.
Inclement Weather:

Each customer is asked to sign a rental agreement/safety instructions including release of liability at the time the Bounce House is set up.   We ask that all customers to read the safety instructions online prior to their party and send us an electronic signature.  This gives you time to understand everything needed to insure a safe party for your family and guests.
How far in advance should I make my reservations?
Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Bounce House units are very poplar and sometime we are booked up weeks and even months in advance.

Do you set up in parks?
Yes. Call us for pricing. Many parks do require a permit. You may have to use a generator, which we can provide for an extra fee, as not all park locations have electricity.
What is the rental period?
The rental period is up to 4 hours or 4 to 8 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any special circumstances you might have, as we are very flexible and work around your schedule. We can also set up for an overnight occasion or a two day rental; please call to discuss pricing.
What are my responsibilities as the renter of the bounce house?
A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise the children while the unit is in use. The adult must know all the safety rules and also be the enforcer of these rules. The renter is responsible for the safety of the children and the care of the equipment.
What if it is rainy or windy?
Bounce houses are not safe to use in the rain. Because of safety reasons, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to heavy rains or high winds (over 25 mph). There is no penalty to the renter. We will call you on the morning of your party to confirm your reservation in which at that time you have the option of canceling your order. If you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the unit is delivered, there will be no refunds should the weather conditions consist of heavy rains or high winds.

We make every effort to set up for each and every rental reservation. The safety of your children, however is our top priority. Patch’s Party Bouncers cannot set up in inclement weather due to the chance of injury or electrocution. This includes rain, high winds, hail, snow, sleet, and ice. If the weather looks cloudy but it is not raining hard, we will give the customer a choice whether or not to set up. Once the Bounce House is in place, the customer will be charged regardless if the day turns rainy.
